Acceptances have gone out!
We have sent out emails letting people know who has been accepted. Edits should be sent out by Monday 10/21, and we will have a sharp turnaround time of 10/24 from authors! Having a reading is no joke!
Thank you to everyone who submitted to After Dark! We’re always inspired to push the limits of what we do and accept, and having this specific genre focus is such a treat for us. We’re currently enjoying the stories and poems submitted and will send status notifications next week.
The Reading!
The sun will set just half an hour after our special event for After Dark begins. We will be meet at at Brandywine Kitchen in Bellingham, WA from 5:30-7:30pm on the day of our Special Issue publication, Sunday, October 27.
Featured authors will read excerpts from After Dark, food and beverage will be available for purchase, and creative community will be shared. Authors, poets, friends, spicy/spooky/strange lovers, and beyond are welcome. Due to the content shared in this issue, please note that this is an 18+ event.
