Dear Writers,

We're excited to announce submissions for Issue 05 Summer Solstice: Life Expectancy are now open. Polish your work and send it to us by or before April 30, 2023.

HamLit now accepts both short fiction and poetry submissions! We've moved away from Twitter and now have a Facebook page paired with our Instagram. And speaking of updates, there’s this monthly Newsletter, via Substack. Substack offers a subscription model to support us, but our plan is to always keep the Newsletter free.

In our Newsletter, we would love to share recent writerly successes from past HamLit authors with our subscribers to promote your achievements. Please send your most recent updates to hamlitjournal@gmail.com whenever you can, and we’ll have a space to celebrate you there. Speaking of which…

HAMMIE NEWS

Brittany Micka-Foos (Winter Issue, “Lune de Miel”) recently had their short story, “From the Waist Down”, published in Witness Magazine. Many congrats, Brittany!

We’re delighted to be launching a new chapter at HamLit where we can continue to celebrate quality writing with our community. In the meantime, please subscribe to our Newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

Warmly, Your HamLit Editors
